Does your medication change your vision in any way?

For me I can’t focus on a point. If I try to focus on a point I can’t really do it. Also, it’s like I see the world in “lower frames per second” if that makes sense.

I struggle sometimes with blurred vision. I think it’s because of the Invega.

I also take Invega and have blurry vision.

I think seroquel gave me more floaters. I’ve stopped seroquel but the floaters are still there.

I have no vision problems on meds but off meds I hyperfocus on things and ppl. It makes me look crazy.

I think its the catatonia freezing my eyes, I get catatonia symptoms off meds

My eyes tend to wander a smidge on their own. I’m on Abilify Maintena though

Older style APs can affect the speed your eyes refocus at, especiallly at higher doses. If you’re scanning from near to far and back again quickly, everything appears out of focus because you’re only looking at something for 2 seconds and your eyes need 5 - 10 seconds to lock on to something. Very frustrating and dangerous if driving. I have this problem whenever I have to use Thorazine, which is my PRN. Leaves me unable to drive until I get it back out of my system.

I’ve had blurry vision with multiple APs. However, after some time the blur times goes away.
