Does your house feel more like a cage?

I am not house friendly today.

My house feels like a nest

I understand that to mean you feel comfortable.

For sure. It is my ‘safe space’ to use the parlence of our time.

I’m assuming that you live alone.

When I was real bad off a few years ago,

I felt like that.

It was like I hated the house and punished it by letting things go undone,

The place was a wreck and the only person it was bothering was me.

Thank gods that’s over.

Now, I’m home a lot, but I work hard to keep my house nice, neat and comfortable.

I also make it a point to get out once a day, not just for walks, like go somewhere else.

Maybe not normal, but its a good balance for me.

Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage.

When I was a kid at my dad’s housr, and I was made to stay in my room all day, only allowed out to eat and use the bathroom.

Gosh, that could be hard on a kid. I, too, had a lot of experiences that made it hard to feel connected. And that is scary, especially when we are little.

My apartment is like a mental institution. White clean and crazy with maddness inside.

Is it enjoyable?
