people are expeiencing the same because it is most definetly activating similar pathways in the brain. thats why there is a dsm,which details a list of sympthoms that are identifiable as part of a schizophrenic illness
is it really that phenomenal? people take DMT and get better experiences than this. they are called psychonauts. because they are obsessed with exploring the psych. do you know how many people claim to have congregated with âentitiesâ while on dmt or mushrooms? not saying you should do that, im just saying its nothing special.
Yes, other cultures believe these drugs open door ways - if there is anything to the concept then maybe something chemically wrong with our brains is also opening a door way

Well I agree with you that if this were in fact merely all just hallucinations - in my mind there would be VERY LITTLE hope to there being any truth to our worldâs religions

the way i look at it though, if someone had a gun to my head id likely be praying my little heart out to god to save me from that situation. i still keep my mind open im just more careful with my choice of beliefs now.

if they were real? they could come from anywhere. they could be anyone or anything. I tried that route already I exhausted it. various places , Hell, Heaven, Other Planets, Separate Solar Systems, Separate Galaxies, Deceased People like previous ancestors, guides, you name it they will become it if I believe it. I could ask any object what it would say. and a word will come up. example: I look at my calendar , its a picture of a beach I asked what It would say, and the word Peace comes up. - so a voice told me the calendar is speaking peace. , then it will continue by saying âwe have currently contained knowledge within photos in molecular form you just dont understand how to release itâ
see how simple it is to let that run away on you and mess you up? Iâve let that crazy train go, its pointless.
I learned the hardway a few times taking full belief in them being a superior force and actually ruined myself financially one of the times.
I can bring those voices up at anytime. its just my mind relaying it in a different form. and that is my current stance on it. and I am quite content with that. and if i wasnt able to cope guess what? Iâd be taking meds. and theres days where i feel like doing just that.
The only way for you to come to your conclusion is to continue your exploration. I donât see a problem with that. you just have to respect others views.

When I was in the mental institute just by looking at a person for long enough I felt I could feel a part of their inner being and I was afraid to look at inanimate objects, because I feared I would experience a void of a soulless object and lose consciousness.
there are times when i feel a stronger connection with people and animals , but thats just usually a sign of mania where i think everyone is connecting with me on some deep level

thats very true, I have a very keen sense of knowing someones intentions in person by body language and also voice. people have also said at times when I look at them its as if i was seeing into there soul or mind
i donât think that schiz is a spiritual problem at all. i mean that in the sense of spirits of the deceased. i think it is an integration problem whereby your personality splits into many separate identities sometimes complete with somewhat spiritual (if thatâs what you wish to call it) identities, hence the tactile feelings or feeling of being taken over by an entity. what you are experiencing is in fact your mind creating personas, much as they do when we dream, only some parts of the schizophrenic brain carries on in r.e.m state whilst awake, hence the ability to create complex characters, feelings, tastes, smells, visual hallucinations and tactile sensations inside or outside the body. you can usually talk to a voice or voices about any topic. they have access to long forgotten information stored in your memory and seem to âknowâ you better sometimes, than you know yourself. this is because they are disparate parts of the whole. they are not strong enough to take over your personality completely and become the host so they vie for control of the host by denigrating, degrading, humilliating and so on. in effect they are weaker splinters of the dreaming host who just happens to be awake whilst all this is going on. thatâs my take on it anyway. nothing weird, wonderful or spiritual just splintered personalities asserting themselves to the limit of their power simply because they are too weak to take control of the dominant personality (you). abnormal psychology yesâŚmystical experience? no. not at all.
