I am on risperidone and getting shooting pain in my toes. Can any one tell does it cause any of these symptoms .I am worried as I dont want to switch this medication .
When I was on Geodon and amitriptyline, the combination made my fingers and toes numb periodically. When the numbness wore off, it would feel like pins and needles.
Ask your doctor about it. They will know more than any of us.
The best way to find the cause to your pain would be going to the doctor.
I have a very severe level of pain, but it is not caused by medications.
If you want, you can put braces on your toes in the meantime; I highly suggest going to a doctor. Peripheral neuropathy is very serious. I personally do not have it, but please do not wait long like I did.
