I don’t understand your definition because, to me, insight includes self- insight. In other words, I just got the insight that a lot of my behavior was ruled by the shame of my father’s beating me.
That was my own definition, not necessarily correct.
Your new insight is inspiring me into thinking the same… Thanks for pointing this up.
