Does anything last forever?

Obviously we can’t get into religion here, so lets not even go there, but does anything last forever?

Isn’t everything from the smallest tree to the most powerful human to the universe itself bound for eventual destruction?

It seems to me that pretty much everything is bound to eventually disappear. I realize this is not a very upbeat topic, but maybe a topic that should be thought about for some perspective.

Maybe try to enjoy what you can while you can, as much as you can because it’s not going to last. Fretting about everything is something that is not really necessary because nothing lasts. Who is gonna care in a thousand years about all these little things we worry about?

Even the human race will cease to exist at some point, so do any of the wars or politics even matter?

My thoughts are just that we should not sweat the small stuff, and even what we think of as the large stuff has little meaning in the grand scheme of things.

Human race will lead this planet to extincion of many nature beings, thats for sure.
I care more about other species in the oceans.
Einstain once said that if it comes to third world war, next one will be with sticks and stones.

Last night I realized like “holy crap, I’m gonna be 29 soon”

I know it’s still young- but I still can’t help think about how fast time goes by…. seems like I was just 18, 21 years old.

In 11 years I’ll be 40…

I need to learn to enjoy and live in the moment more.

I think slowly decaying is no better than not lasting forever, specially for us who suffer from a chronic illness.

I have my hopes on revolutionary meds and technologies, for surviving better and longer.

Yes, everything is fleeting and temporary.
I understand this more and more.

Death is a part of life.

I no longer fear death like I used to in my youth.

How can it be? Every night I go to bed and lose consciousness. The ‘I’ disappears and then returns.

I had a fugue episode and lost my consciousness for about a month. ‘I’ simply didn’t exist. It is how I imagine death is. No I, no history, no present, no future and no consciousness. Simpy nothing. Like I never existed at all.

It’s just something I believe in to help me deal with my fear of death.

Maybe time is eternal.
Don’t quote me on this.

Time is illusory and subjective.

The way an insect experiences time is said to be at a much faster rate than mammals, for example.

Yes, time is relative, it flows differently according to observer, but will it ever end? We are led to believe it exists even in the absence of an observer, but I may, of course, be wrong.

I agree, I have always pondered about this thinking regarding 1000 years from now.

I will say a had terrable feelings that seemed like they would last forever. Since I started Abilify they seem to have completly vanished like 90 percent. Before they were like daily feelings. Unbearable to me at times. I feel so much better now.

I am not scared of death. As i had no memory when i was born… it was my surrounding what i know and process. There is something more to it about the existence.

Everything is just tranfer of enegry.

So nothing is created or destroyed

We just swing in a balance of our universal frequency. This as a universe is smart  it is learning some thing and evolving .

Like getting ready for an exam
