  • Type 1 diabetes
  • Neuropathy (caused by type 1 diabetes)
  • Stage 1 kidney disease (caused by type 1 diabetes)
  • Cervical dystonia (constant muscle contraction in my shoulders and neck caused by antipsychotics - started with Invega Sustenna)
  • Occipital neuralgia (chronic pain from cervical dystonia compressing my occipital nerves, in the head and neck)
  • Tardive dyskinesia (movement disorder caused by antipsychotics)
  • Migraines
  • Asthma
  • Eosinophilic esophagitis (allergic condition of the esophagus, causing narrowing and scarring - I cannot have dairy because of this)
  • Hypermobility syndrome or EDS (joints bend too far and my intestines are severely stretched out)
  • Fibromyalgia (chronic pain condition)
  • Tendinitis in many joints

I have to take quite a lot of medications. I’m on an insulin pump and continuous glucose monitor. I have to get about 100 injections (literally) of botox in my head, neck, shoulders, and back. I have two different neurologists who give me the botox every three months (for both of them, separately). I also see one of the neurologists every four weeks for occipital nerve block injections in my head, neck, and above my eyes. I also see the pain management doctor every four weeks for trigger point injections. I’m only 33 years old.

Ocd and diabetes

I might also have some other disorders but not diagnosed

I just read ocd can deeply impact your personality….its been really hard to understand how i got this way… but this was what i came up with and i guess it can actually happen.

I felt like I was a werewolf transforming but it was probably years of extreme ocd/thought broadcasting and perceived abuse.

Like @Blossom I also see a neurologist every three months to get Botox injections, for migraines, in my scalp, temples, forehead, neck, shoulders and upper back. These injections are very painful. And they don’t do a thing for wrinkles.
