I have PCOS, which means I keep getting cysts on my ovaries.
The cysts make all my hormones unbalanced, which screws up my insulin production (and uptake), and makes it easier for me to gain weight.
The illness also gets worse when I gain weight, which in return makes me gain even more weight.

I keep it under control with medicines they give people with type 2 diabetes (Metformin), and my doctor has suggested birth control to get my hormones under control if the Metformin can’t do it.

Allergic rhinitis and other allergies
Delayed sleep phase disorder
Hypersomnia

I have hemochromatosis. It means iron overload in my bloodstream. Treated with phlebotomies. They used to drain me of 500cc at a time. The disease is hereditary. It is only a big deal when gone untreated and iron builds up in internal organs.

And if alcoholism is genetic, I have that, too.

Obesity all the way…who knows what this could be doing to me right now :cold_sweat:

I have sleep apnea.

I have nothing…

Hypothyroidism.

Was diagnosed with anemia at least once, but apparently I’m not anemic anymore? I guess stopping my periods stopped my anemia, though, so win-win.

GERD.

Suspected IBS (will get this checked when I go to the doctor).

Oh, I guess I should say bad chronic seasonal and pollen allergies. #blowingmynoseallday

Other psych problems include PTSD, GAD, recurring dissociative amnesia, psychogenic seizures…

I think that’s it. I’m probably missing things, though.

Why are we so similar o.O I also feel like my narcolepsy is sort of a diagnosis picked because nothing else fits. That’s really how I feel about my sza diagnosis too.

The ptsd I’m like textbook on but the rest is really out there.

Severe depression and anxiety. Classical autism. I have very mild cerebral palsy and some kind of ailment with my patella because I can’t straighten my left leg out all the way. I really need to work on those physical therapy exercises…
