Im starting to to think it would be expensive

Haven’t been to one forever. You can blow through a lot of money in targets and ammo in a hurry. I switched to archery some years back and it’s less expensive, but still not cheap. More fun than guns, though, I think.

Only with air rifles. We are not allowed guns in the UK. The fact that we have crazily good air rifles because it is all we have kind of makes up for it. They have people coming in with live rounds all the time though, because there are people around here with gun licenses. Mostly dodgy farmers. I can remember one guy walked into the room I was in with a loaded handgun, pointing the end all around the room, it even went straight across me as he walked in the room, I thought I was going to die or something.

@shutterbug I do archery also. I have a recurve bow.

I’ve done gun ranges a good portion of my life, enjoyed shooting, knew my material, took safety classes and concealed carry. Considered myself an alright shot.

TW: had to give them all up for safety during my less resilient days. I know the taste of metal and oil all to well. Not something I want around the house anymore.

Im a pretty good shot, but ever since I moved to hawaii, theres only like one range here and its on the other side of the island and always crowded. I miss living in nevada, you could always just drive off into the desert and shoot ■■■■, it was so fun

My dad is moving to Nevada in a year. Prices for houses are so high!

I’ve got a Samick Sage recurve takedown I use for shooting bare bow. My Olympic recurve is a Hoyt riser with W&W limbs and all the toys. I’ve got a Presicion Shooting compound, a longbow, and a Genesis Original compound that I used when I coached NASP (I stopped coaching when my kid graduated).

Only when I was in the service.

I don’t particularly like guns now, but I understand they’re sometimes necessary for protection and people who work in the military and law enforcement.

I went to Army Cadets for a few years when I was 14/15 before I got sick.

My squad won medals for shooting.

If I wanted to go to the shooting range. All I would have to do is step out my back door. I have. a large hill behind my house.

I’ve never done it but it sounds like fun.

I have vast amounts of country to shoot in between my grandparents and aunts. I’m pretty good with clay pigeons with a 12 gauge pump. Not too bad with handgun. I love muzzleloaders. Just bought a 50. Cal Kentucky muzzleloader pistol kit. I should start on it soon.
