Does Abilify make you more or less impulsive?

I read that Abilify made people more impulsive and prone to gambling, but @Mountainman said it actually helped his impulsiveness. So, what is the consensus?

  • Abilify makes me more impulsive
  • Abilify makes me less impulsive
  • Abilify doesn’t affect my impulsiveness

I put more impulsive as it gave me extreme agitation and I was getting angry with things very quickly, which I guess is impulsiveness.

I am binge-eating on chocolates and eggnog even on low Abilify. I feel like if the junk food is there I just have to eat it. Where is my willpower?

Post from @Mountainman about Abilify helping with impulsive spending:

I’m not sure. I quit gambling just around the time I started abilify.

I think it may have gone down but I answered neutral.

I know that naltrexone definitely makes me less impulsive

I have similar effects on Vraylar. I crave or drink energy drinks. My previous doctor said it’s the increase in dopamine.
