Does any abilify user experienced teeth grinding and clenching issue at this forum?
Abilify causes all kinds of movement disorders. It’s best to take propranolol with your abilify.
it might be because of depression…i know i had this problem before i was put on an antidepressant, now i don’t do it as much.
I had it before I started on Abilify. I use a mouth guard at night.
It might, antipsychotics can cause multiple movement disorders anywhere in your body. I’ve had bruxism since I was a child though and I guess I clench my jaw constantly to where the muscle is probably suffering from TMJ disorder from where acidic beverages can make that area sting really badly and it sounds like bones are crunching when I open my jaw.
My son is not on any medications but, when he gets stressed, I can hear his teeth grinding next to me.
