There is such a chronic shortage of psychiatrists in your province that those left are being reserved for the worst patients and situations. Anyone regarded as stable is handed off to a GP on an outpatient basis:
You’re probably not going to get a psychiatrist in Quebec unless you become a higher risk or your parents place you with a private psychiatrist. Maybe ask your parents about this?

My psychiatrist actually apologized to me for putting me on Clozapine, which caused diabetes.

They’re going to make it illegal mark my words. It’s got too many side effects.
Bad medical education probably. Treating the symptoms rather than the underlying problems. I’m this model a cure isn’t possible. I think doctors learn a ton of things in med school but don’t have a lot of wisdom in medicine.
