I was on 80 mg of Latuda he changed me to 40 mg of Latuda with 40 mg of Strattera. I called and pleaded that he prescribe me 80 mg of Latuda but he kept me at 40mg I guess he wants to try it but I called the CIA today trying to apply for a job. He’s on vacation everyone says to continue with what the doctor says at 40 mg. I was stable and fine on 80 mg but I think he’s trying to fix my akathisia or something. Should I take two pills or wait for the doctor to give me to go ahead
If it was me, and I had enough pills to last + I had been taking the 80 in the past, I would go back to the 80. If you still don’t do well, then you will have that information at least.
However, did he just add the straterra? or up a former dose. I wouldn’t like playing around with the two that might interact. If the straterra is new,
I would leave it off + just go back to what I was taking before the change when I was doing well.
I don’t like advising you, but this is what I would do - go back to before the change. I hate feeling the discomfort of a medicine trial that isn’t working out. Especially when they say - Take this, and then go on vacation. Fortunately my Dr does e mail and handles medicine changes on a day to day basis when necessary.
