Do your voices make you depressed or anxious? How do cope with it?

Understand, don’t actually “make you” feel or do anything. Imagine if the voices were in a different language, or just jibberish, even if they thought they were “making you feel, think, or do something” would they have that power? Obviously not because you would not react. See, the key is in the reaction. There techniques for not embracing or evading in reaction, they are found in Mindfulness meditation techniques, also known as Dialectical therapy. There is a book, titled “Hearing Voices: A Common Human Experience” by John Watkins which gives context to experience and techniques for managing the perception and experience. Additionally, there are Voice Hearing Groups you can join to share with other voice hearers.
