i’m not working anymore… in my last job the work doctor said i couldn’t work anymore because of my sz. The pdoc has said same, the work gives me too much stress and makes me relapse. I’m on sick leave now for many years already…

I had that problem, but I made up my mind that I would push past it and I did.
I got laid off because of COVID, but I’ve been having trouble finding work

I used to study full time and do a part time job before sz. Since sz studied part time and had tons of jobs that I didn’t last more than 9 months at. Its been a year I stopped work. I dont think I can work on my current meds unless I lower the dosage but then will have sz symptoms.
I was on Abilify for the majority of the time that I studied and worked. I have a major bach. degree in kinesiology. I wanted to do master/specialization 1yr in physiotherapy but didn’t have the grades

Longest job I had after sz was 9 months, I worked with accounting softwares in my mother’s accounting office, full time. I was on Latuda but had some positive symptoms. I think I would rather not work than working and having positive symptoms.

I’m in an employment program at the moment.
Last week for me.
Hopefully after I can land a job of some kind.

I work but since COVID started been working from home. I have a home office. I collect taxes for the government. I have been doing it just over two years now. I have to go into the office and post checks and sort the mail about two days a month.

@maleget yeah before I got mentally ill I worked a full time job. I wish I could work still but…
Working full time for me was easy. You get used to it.
