Do you use liquid drain unclogger?

My bathroom sink is mostly clogged, though it drains slowly. I was going to try some liquid drain unclogger. Has this worked for you? It got clogged after I shaved my beard.

Sometimes it does. I usually just take the pipe apart and clean the U trap.

No. I bought a $20 drain snake from Amazon. Cheaper long-term solution for clog busting.

I also use a drain snake. Much grosser, but much more effective.

IDK, I think drain cleaners like Drano and other drain uncloggers can be hard on the pipes. If you live in an apartment, notify your manager and see what they say. The handyman can snake it for you. If you are in a house just read the directions on the drain unclogger carefully. If you have old pipes or you’ve had clogs before be very careful what you put down that drain.

I had a problem with a slowly draining shower. My hirsute body caused the blockage. I got a liquid un-blocker and it worked a treat. I left it over night to soak though.

It worked for me!

Isn’t there a vinegar and baking soda solution you can use? Plz fact check but it seems I remember that.

But yes. We’ve used Drain-O many times or Liquid Plumber. Works just okay.

Thanks for the reply. I tried Liquid Plumber, and it didn’t work. I put in a call to building maintenance.
