Asteroid mining and space tourism is going to be huge. If I had the money I would invest in that economy.

Yea it’s gonna be awhile. Ai is probably the next big thing in tech.

Space tourism is still a long way off, unless you want to count people paying ridiculous amounts of money for a few moments of weightlessness. But as far as visiting resorts on Mars, that is centuries away.

A few decades ago they were talking about “the industrialization of space”. They said that ninety percent of the energy we used in production was used fighting gravity, and there is no gravity in space. There were a lot of things we could do better in space, but none of the major companies were interested. Lifting all that material off the face of the earth would have been enormously difficult, and the technological knowhow was beyond us. That idea faded into oblivion. We just didn’t have the technological ability.
