Do you struggle to recognise other people?

I might see my wife leaving her office. How do I know it’s really her? No other adult lives in the house, and I never fail to recognise her shape and features, but is it really her? Of lately it has often taken me several seconds to be (almost) completely certain it was her, and not an actor or intruder. Is this normal? Thanks

I took the test and survived (I got 63). My problem is not with recognising faces per se, but feeling sure about other people’s identity. Thanks for the link, it was fun.

I’d heard of this, but I don’t believe that my wife has been replaced, only that sometimes, during the first seconds of an encounter I have doubts. Surely I’m not delusional about this too!??!

It sounds delusional.

This sounds like a delusion, I had it too

I guess it started at hospital when I became practically convinced that I had been replaced. I spent quite a few hours musing over the moral implications. To whom did I owe my allegiance, Sekso 1 or Sekso 2.
