Electronic cash is king
I live in third world country…
Mostly cash if I have any…
I like to keep $50 to $100 on me and maybe a couple hundred in a lockbox at my place. I usually save it for when I’m buying from people on marketplace or certain stores that are still cash only. Everything else I put on my credit card. I don’t risk using my debit card at stores/gas stations. I only use it for withdrawing and deposting cash after seeing stories every month about card skimmers being all over the place. Plus most credit cards offer some cash back or rewards points.
Assuming hackers haven’t taken down the electrical grid or the banking system.
Yes, I still carry cash.
Nope only online.
Last week cops caught me taking a right turn where I am not supposed to.
I showed my bank balance to the cop which was 208 he said ask the shop guy to give me by withdrawing 200 and pay him.
I debated that send the bill home he was like no, where the bill was 1500 but ended up bribing 200.
These cops get on my nerve. The signal does not work and they expect me to see the sign board.
Anyways did not want to spoil my mood so paid 200 got out of that situation.
I only use my phone for any transaction even for 1 rupee to buy a candy
Hacker won’t take down the network because they too need money
You need to pay more attention to current geopolitical tensions.
I have stopped following news, I feel like I can control everything which is not true anyways
I feel sorry to I can’t do anything much.
But why would anyone need a green card on green land?
You made my morning. Thank you for this.
Let me hold 20…
Usually keep anywhere from $5-$20 to put a few bucks in the basket at AA meetings.
