First and only waltzing was during those stupid dance lessons in Jr. High phys-ed. I did get to dance with a cutie named Pattie W., however.

I have never waltzed in my life! But I did have to do square dancing in Jr High PE class. I still have not quite recovered. Itâs the stuff nightmares are made of.

I thought everyone did at some point
When I was 20 years old I danced with the prettiest girl in the hospital. In between dances I made a simple innocuous remark about dancing and she said, âYouâre weirdâ. I was devastated and I walked out in humiliation and went down the hall to the smoking room and sat there by myself because everybody was at the dance, and sat there feeling sorry for myself.
After 5 minutes the same girl walked in wearing only a hospital gown. Without a word she sat on my lap and cuddled her body into mine. But I didnât do anything. I donât know why.
Anyways that lasted a couple of minutes and then she left and we never talked again.

I am a gentleman. But I wanted her badly. I donât think she cried any tears about me not doing anything. It was my loss. She had her pick of any guy in there. The next day I had some very ungentlemanly thoughts about what I missed out on and what could have been.
