Do you read books?

I’ve been stuck on Origin of the Urban Crisis for a while now - I was knocking Detroit books out like clockwork for a while but this one’s slowed me down.

Got a couple of CBT books to work through, plus school books. This would be a nice change of pace.

Thanks!

Although I don’t agree with everything he posits, it’s well worth a read.

I’ve read it, loved it but the plot got sidetracked a bit and the small-town Texas part put me to sleep. Other than that it was amazing.

Just finished this… and that.

I worked out then read all day

It’s the best option with my lot in life. The more I read, the more I realize I don’t know and the more questions I ask. It’s sobering to realize that truly knowing psychology will take another several years of hard work. Then, I will have to keep up to date with studies published every month. New theories, new discoveries, all new.

At least I am enjoying it and seem to have shown that I am good at it.

Some people don’t like scholars and intellectuals. It’s the only thing I have going for me and it’s free, so I just do it. It might land me a nice life within ten or so years. It should within 20.

But it does feel good to be right most of the time.
