Doctors don’t care about him. He doesn’t even see a doctor. A registered psychiatric nurse is the one prescribing his medication. He’s just a paycheck. She told him to start taking some of his medicine during the day for no reason at all when he can’t even stay awake on it and drives.
We are and have been. Taking responsibility for our own health and well being.
Okay, then talk this over with his doctor. It’s a horrible, horrible idea to do this on your own. He will need frequent medical supervision during this process. And your experience is not sufficient knowledge for you to think you know how this will affect him. You were on 200 mg Seroquel. That’s barely an antipsychotic at all. He was/is on a high AP dose, and most likely for schizophrenia, not mood imbalances or something else. Right now, you’re not being responsible with him.
If you are not satisfied with his doctor, get a second opinion. Don’t fool yourself into thinking you are qualified to make a doctor’s decisions.
In the end, it is his choice. But you’re not helping him by letting that choice be an uninformed one. Thus could all go horribly wrong for both of you.
We are getting him a hair analysis and employing the help of the holistic nutritionist that help me on my journey in the beginning.
He was never schizophrenic in the first place. He was not coping very well after being gang raped by men.
