Do you live on a busy street?

I do now. It’s midnight here and I can still go outside for a smoke and see a car buzz by every few seconds.

During the day, it is a very busy street.

How about you?

Nah, I live on a relatively quiet street. If I go to the end of my street, it goes out on one of the busiest streets in this area but that’s a block away.

I complained a lot about the neighbors but that’s only the guys above me and the guy on the other side of my bedroom wall. The neighbors in the next apartment building over were amazingly quiet. No one ever hung out outside; they stayed in their apartments 90% of the time. There was one 23 year old kid who smoked pot and about twice a year flew off the handle and yelled at someone but twice a year isn’t that much. I’m home a lot and barely ever even see those neighbors coming and going.

I don’t live on a very busy street, but I live right by one of the main streets in my city. Typically into the late hours I can hear sirens from the police and ambulances drive nearby. It’s been fairly quiet tonight though.

I used to

Was a very busy road and there was a college near by where these kids make a racket outside

Now I live in a dead end road and no noise at all

Though I had gotten used to it before

I live on only a moderately busy street. It’s only as busy as it is because it’s home to a LOT of strip malls everywhere on this street, which includes a popular grocery store.

My building doesn’t even face the street, but faces the quiet courtyard in the back.

I did at one time when I lived in Los Angeles. I’m back in the UK now in a small villlage.

It’s very quiet and peaceful. I like it.

no, very slow street…still have to be careful backing out due to cars though just in case.

I live on a very dodgy street. A few drug houses on it. Yelling and fighting and screaming along the street most days and nights. Meth is ruining this part of town.

No, thankfully. That’s part of the reason why we moved when our twins were two. The street we were on was off of a busy road and people would go way too fast down the street.

My street is somewhat busy, worst part is the speeding on the road. Very bad of some people; especially considering my end has a primary school (junior school)

We live just off a busy street. We have idiots that are doing 150 kph up it some weekend evenings. They are lucky Amazon doesn’t sell spike belts. (I looked.)

Not much with cars but with neighbors hanging out in the street talking or walking their dogs

No in a cul de sac - in a quiet village. But my flats in a busy town, on the seafront, where the odd sea gull will head butt the patio windows lol.

I lived in South London for a bit - and bloody hell there was traffic day and night. It was above a pub tho.

I live in an apartment complex with 5 buildings and 72 apartments per building, so there’s a lot of people here but it’s not on a really busy street. Most of the residents are fairly quiet and don’t get too much in other people’s business. Only a few people with dogs, as pets aren’t allowed but emotional support animals are allowed with a doctor’s letter. It’s an okay place to live.
