I’m in an apartment building for people with mental health issues. My immediate neighbor is about my age (57) and she’s really nice and I have no problems with her. I hate the guy that lives above me but I won’t get into that. There’s two young women that live upstairs and I rarely see them. One of them said “hi” to me one day so I said “hi” back and that’s the only contact I’ve had with them in six months.

I’m paranoid and suspicious of mine also. I got so scared the other night, because one of them knocked on my door to tell us our trunk was open while it was raining. Well me being paranoid, called the police on them. They may never come over again. I’m still suspicious of them. I’m probably seen as one of those creepy neighbors you hear on reddit stories. I keep to myself mostly, don’t talk to anyone, I sit facing their house in a creepy way. Mostly their youngest son’s room, I have seen him staring at me through his window, while I sit drinking my coffee and petting my cat. I feel like he probably writes about me online…lol I am that strange neighbor.

My neighbours keep to themselves for the most part. We exchange gifts once a year, and they are so quiet that I rarely hallucinate hidden messages when listening to them talk next to my room in this duplex. I don’t think I could have asked for better neighbours.

theyre friendly old people who make moonshine and have an adorable dog, so i generally like them

I have lovely neighbours. I am very lucky since I moved into this house. My previous flat was terrible. I had to move because of neighbours. Here it’s very nice.

jon’s (the neighbor) out mowing the yard for the first time this year. grass was getting long. he stays busy outside. his daughter lives next door to him and she has boys. I guess they’re cool. like I said he’s always out and about doing something.
pete on the other side is retired and is pretty helpful, he’s helped me and dad get our mower out of the mudd a couple times. he has a lot of equipment on his property and a big giant pull barn he keeps his cars in. I think he was a Vietnam vet, he’s always flying his pow/mia flag, but not sure really.
that’s our immediate neighbors the neighborhood I guess has a lot of gun enthusiasts so I could live without that. I would smoke grass but it would be a bad trip with all the gun shots going off all the time. plus it makes me psychotic.
