I guess because of my job the tech need seems very delayed.
I am studying biology and horticulture… growing food has some high tech elements… but food is still seeds… water… earth… and sun.
There is a lot of tech being developed for the smart phone… but there is no app for physically digging the earth… watering the seed and growing food. I guess there could be… self driving ploughs that work on timer?
I think some people (in my family) forget we need the balance.

I see myself as a hypocrite. My smartphone brought serious, dehumanizing harm to folks in Africa.

i love nature as well, i love the randomness of it
things that science cant explain like why a plant or tree grows the way it does, it is amazing
i love looking at all the shapes and intricate designs, its like beauty in chaos, it is beauttiful but it is completely random and its like so easy, like how can a plant grow that way so easily.
my brain was like that plant only thing is that it was withered and limp, it needed the right type of brain food lol a bit like feeding the right diet to a fish in the pond where all the conditions have to be right.
I would just love nature and people(some of them not all) and animals if I wasn’t szic. Now that that I have this illness and have to face stigma, I find it more comforting to hide behind a screen, not by being bad, but by being more expressive than by being in a company where I am afraid to talk because I am afraid what the others might think of me. I also have lack of motivation to go walking, or climbing, or swimming, or biking in the nature, so, I choose something I hate: technology.

Computer technology had a clear step by step development.
Same with aircraft and automobiles.
Cell phone networks seem like magic to me but that has the same development over the last 20 to 30 years.
It’s been the physicists and engineers that have made it all possible.

We don’t really have nano bots yet. But you can see the progress they’re making each year. Things that fold and spin and the like. Rfid chips are an arrangement of magnetic fields. That’s not alien technology.
I like technology and tech gadgets. Mostly, I’ve enjoyed having a computer to help my mind stay busy on things that I enjoy doing.
