Do you like Chinese food

My girlfriend suggested I try “shrimp toast” a while back. I’m not sure if it’s the same as prawn crackers. I ordered them and though I love Chinese food, they were bland, flavorless, and soaked in grease. It was probably the shop I ordered from but everything else they make is gold.

Yesss. Chicken & Broccoli, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Orange Beef, Egg Rolls, Roast Port Lo Mein, Fried Rice, Cheese Wontons, Wonton Soup, Egg Drop Soup… I love it all.

One thing about Chinese food is that a lot of people are allergic to it, MSG, soy, of seafood in general.

I love kung pao shrimp

I went to a large Chinese buffet once with my brother. I’ve always felt I could eat just about anything if I put my mind to it. I also liked the idea of shocking my sister-in-law who was with us.

The buffet had a large container of little squid/octopus things in it. They looked boiled. I put some on my plate and sat down, smiling at my horrified sister-in-law.

Well, I probably should have added some sauce or something to them cause they were freaking disgusting. I very nearly puked in the busy restaurant full of people. Big bad Malvok, eh no so much.

My favorite would be Malaysian and Singaporean Chinese foods, especially from the Penang! Char Koay Teow- fried noodles, Asam Laksa- sweet and sour noodle soup, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Bak Kut Teh- herbal soup served with porks and rice, Hokkien Mee- prawn noodle soup.

Or maybe Italian pizzas, I have a funny story about this, when I once was in Venice alone and went to a restaurant and ordered a pizza, when I ate it I probably used too much cheese and then a restaurant person came and said you did not order cheese, I thought it was all so funny:
