Before psychosis this stuff were my fave. I loved watching before sleep.
Nowadays, I just hate it when I see it on TV, It is not only very disturbing for mentally ill, it is not not even funny.
Constant mockery, and every other horrible thing there is in the world.
It is strange. For me, triggers major issues of humiliation, psychosis and ugly memories. I don’t like em.
BUT then again, I can not watch most TV shows.
I like diff cartoons now… im like you before the mental break I enjoyed them… now ill watch adventure time and rick and morty…a few others…but family guy is one of the more hateful shows ever lol… I know they make fun of everyone about equally but their just assholes really…
I have never watch the Simpsons or the Family Guy.
I do have a t-shirt that has the baby and dog from Family Guy paddling a canoe.
With the words. "Paddle faster I here banjos.
I wear it to the river a lot. But nobody seems to get the message.
super jail made me feel like I was freaking out… I did enjoy dethklok though… I love toki …and murderface… @HQuinn have you seen the batmetal videos… its batman meets dethklok… with tons of pop culture references they have both marvel and dc cameos…
I love their music too… I like cannibal dna… there is another batmetal video… @HQuinn we should discuss music sometime… but it will prolly have to be pms… this is rather tame compared to some metal…
I still enjoy shows like The Simpsons and Family Guy, as well as South Park. I loved Futurama, as well. I don’t have tv service, but my friend DVRs them so we can watch them together. Family Guy isn’t quite as good as it used to be, but then neither is The Simpsons. Family Guy may be offensive, as is South Park, but I still find both of them to be funny. If you get terribly offended by either show then you’re taking it too seriously, and if you take a comedy seriously you’re kind of missing the whole point of it and need to lighten up a bit.
Maybe I have lost my sense of humour … I do not find them funny anymore.
I am not sure what is funny for me… But I do laugh a lot when reading this forum.
I am not sure it is pleasant to have flashbacks of the illness because of a cartoon mockery.
I don’t watch cartoons a lot but I do enjoy them when I do. I find them to be funny. I don’t take them tooo seriously just as I don’t take stand up comedy seriously. While I find them funny, I don’t watch them very often. I am usually watching the news or food network.
I like watching them too, but when i was feeling ill couldn’t watch tv, afraid to think bad thoughts, its funn6 sometimes my visuals are not very good, it’s a nightmare.
Eh, I’m not too big a fan of Simpsons anymore. It’s become too family friendly.
I do like Futurama, South park, American Dad and Family Guy, though.
I also like things like Spongebob, Foster’s Home For Imaginary Friends, and Samurai Jack
