@Rainstorm @Wave thank you. getting a new cat or kitten feels impossible right now. it’s still too soon. but I hope some day I will be able to give a home to a new cat. I love cats so much. but it is too soon yet.

None of my cats would ever stand for hugging and kissing. And I’ve owned cats almost all my life. They would all tolerate being picked up and held for short periods however.
