Is my cat gay?

This isn’t a delusion, it’s just a funny (and slightly weird/creepy) anecdote mixed with a joke.

So I’m wondering if my cat is gay for me. We’ve always been somewhat close and she’s always been pretty protective of me but we would usually just get together every once in a while, I’d pet her, we’d chill for about ten, twenty minutes, then go our separate ways. Whenever I let her sleep in my room with me (I have to keep her locked in with me otherwise she gets on the counter and my mom hates that) she’ll cuddle with me until she figures I’m asleep or gets tired of my shifting around trying to get comfortable and hops off my bed to explore my room and do whatever she does when I’m asleep.

But then we had a creepy moment earlier this evening. I had just gotten out of the shower (sorry if this is too graphic, but trust me it’s necessary to the story) and I walked to my room. I live alone upstairs so I don’t have to worry about anyone coming up so I just left my cloths in my room.

Well my cat comes over and sits in my doorway and stares at me. I mean stares at me. So I stare back. We maintain this eye contact almost constantly while I’m getting dressed.

Now she’s sitting in my lap. I petted her again (I petted her before I went and took a shower) and I started petting her again now that I’m downstairs and I’ve been petting her for at least 12 minutes (I’ve been heating up nuggets so I have a pretty good estimate). Now she’s sitting on my lap very content and happy.

We usually only hang out and cuddle when I’m about to have a bad day. She can somehow sense it, but we’ve never chilled this long in… I don’t think ever. She’s a pretty independent little lady.

So, inter species love or is WW3 about to break out?

But damn if it wasn’t creepy getting dressed. I had a fish that liked to stare at me while I got dressed too. He was a beta and kept doing a threat display the whole time. Do animals think our hairless, scaleless bodies are that freaky?

It was a strangely hostile look. She was aggressively staring at me.

Maybe she just feels bad for judging my pink fur less body.

When animals tend to look , what’s the difference , you really do not know what’s going on inside your cats head. Maybe the cat was just ‘working out’ the situation since it usually sees you fully clothed. No biggie.

Wow , just saw this lolz. Your cat is male I take it. So now you seem to be sayn , not only is the cat homosexual in a trans-species way, but he is a repressed homosexual who is angry at the world , on top of that.

Perhaps she was hungry for oyster then?.. (such a huge and juicy oyster is hard to find after all.)

Seriously though, my cat is the same. he only eats specific treats and rejects all others even though they are with the same flavour.
