Do you have trouble with calling people by their names

Many ways to look at this I wonder where I start by saying to you I have never felt apart so when people call me by my name I do not recognize it all the same so if I call you something that you’re not don’t frown upon it it was just a thought and with this said I say to you do you have trouble calling people by their names for I am not the only one who has ever had the notion the people are more than labels

Nope. I’m constantly on the phone at work.

I always call people by the name they first give me.

If it turns out that they have a nickname or a shortened version of their name that they actually prefer, then that’s tough luck. I continue to call them by the first name I was given!

Yes but only bc my facial recognition skills are not very good.

No I don’t mind calling people by what they prefer. My manager is called something and i called her by her first name that was on the email. Turns out she hates being called that as I overheard her talking to someone. I call her Nic now.

I went through name evolution. My name is Thomas.

Growing up I went by Tommy. Every one in my family and that I went to school with calls me that.

When I was in the Marines I started going by Tom.

Now I actually prefer Thomas.

And it pisses me off that my Facebook says Tom and I can’t figure out how to change it to Thomas. Women manage to add their maiden names and their new married names but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to change my first name.
