I have poverty of thought on invega and it’s really concerning.
I have zero psychotic symptoms on ABILIFY but everyone is different and what works for me might not work for you and vice Versa

It’s okay. I seem to be able to think a lot better than when I was on either resiperdial or olanzipine
It’s great except it can cause gambling addiction and hyper sexuality. I felt best on it
It was really bad for me. Lots of serious side effects already on the first day. Had to quit right away.
forced me to quit smoking cigs and vaping. I found nodes on my lungs. I couldn’t breathe on abilify.

I do fine on 15 mg abilify. No sideffects at all. I use it for depression, not because of psychotic symptoms. It helps with my negative symptoms / depression
Do you have any cognitive issues or emotional numbing on it?
I struggle to make conversation. I’m not very talkative. I also don’t have much emotion.
I think this is the side effect of most anti-psychotics though.
I’m on 30mg Abilify. I still get some break-through symptoms, and it doesn’t help with my depression, but it’s been the most effective AP I’ve tried so far
No, i had some sedation on olanzapine, but not on abilify. Its hard to say whether i have got cognitive issues, because what is caused by SZ and what is caused by meds, but i don’t think so.
I tried Abilify, didn’t work, I was hallucinating while on it. I didn’t have any side effects though.
Abilify did nothing for me
I like aripiprazole. When I first started on it I didn’t really think I had a good time in life and that was therefore exacerbated by aripiprazole. But now it is better.
It may just have been that I’m very sensitive to higher doses of it. Though. But hopefully it was just cos I was not at a good point in my life which is why I couldn’t cope well on 15mg.
Id suggest you start on the lowest dose of abilify and give that a chance first?
I’m on Aristada which is the form of Abikify just for sz and sza. I love it. I can think, have more emotions than Invega, and more motivation.
I was on invega for a year and switched to abilify a year ago. No problems for me in the transition and I feel alot better. I’m on 10mg a day.
My nickname for it was Disabilify. It sort of controlled my positive symptoms, but I really struggled with side-effects. I mean REALLY struggled.

How long have you been on Invega? I was on invega for a couple years and I’ve been on abilify for little over a year… it’s not bad! I have less side effects on it than I did on invega. I used to have poverty of thought on abilify… but not anymore.
