Yes, no, maybe, I don’t know… Can you repeat the question?

No I don’t. By the way I usually don’t vote in polls, because I don’t like to feel locked into a viewpoint.

It’'s tricky one to answer. For example ā€˜continuous concentration’ at https://testmybrain.org/ which takes about 14 minutes.

That suggests my concentration is good. Yet online I tend to flit quite rapidly between web pages and my concentration over 25-30 minutes is not so hot. It’s especially true the more complicated and lengthy the text is on a webpage

Off medication absolutely. I am so tired most of the time or unmotivated I can’t pay attention much at all. Off meds I don’t really have the focus to watch long TV shows or movies, to play videogames or read more than a brief chapter of a book at a time. I use all my energy and concentration to try to study, and even then am often not successful hence why I made mostly B’s and C’s in college before I was stable on meds.

Now that I am on good meds, I have the attention span and motivation of a normal person and it’s awesome. I think modafinil helps the most. I think this med should be allowed to be prescribed to people with negative symptoms as it is not supposed to affect dopamine as much as other stimulants so is considered a ā€œsafeā€ med for people with psychosis.

Even if it doesn’t help with the person’s negative symptoms, it could help with someone’s AP induced sedation.

Problems concentrating is like my number one issue at the minute. Well that and sleep.

I tried to do this concentration test and I didn’t know how to click the two dots that were flashing. Can anyone tell me how to do it? @firemonkey maybe?

The idea is you click on the flashing dot that changes colour by left clicking with your mouse. It then tells you if you are correct and moves you onto the next image if so.

I tried a second time but did worse than before. As you can see the average score gets lower the older you get.

Whoops ignore my last post I was thinking of the ā€˜Spot the difference’ test. With continuous concentration when you see a city press the space bar . If you don’t don’t don’t press a key.

I tried nonstimulant ADHD medicine and it barely helped. I have tried stimulant ADHD medicine and they made me psychotic so I am stuck with no medicine for concentration.
