I know we have a few weeks left yet, but I was wondering if anyone has plans for Thanksgiving? If so, what are you going to be up to? If not, do you have something you’ll do instead, like cuddling up with a good book?
We will be driving to north Carolina to visit my family that week. I am really looking forward to it because I haven’t seen my mother and sisters in a year.
Don’t know my plans just yet. Probably food and school work. No breaks for Thanksgiving but we get a week off for Christmas and New Years.
I usually go the day before Thanksgiving and stand in a line for a few hours to get free turkeys and food boxes from the food bank, but this year I’m going to skip it so people who are struggling with food insecurity can get the food before it runs out. I’m just one person and don’t need a whole turkey anyway…I’ll just be home watching TV.
Honestly, zero plans.
MIGHT go to a Friendsgiving.. but not set on it yet.
I’ll be staying home with family. I think hubby has the day off, but I’m not certain. Either way, we’ll do food and stuff, if not on Thursday, then on another day that everyone is off.
I will be going alone to my sister’s house for thanksgiving and will bring my wife home a few plates of food afterwards…she doesn’t like my family and I don’t blame her…my famliiy is not very nice really…but anyways, that’s what i’m doing.
Our Canadian Thanksgiving was last month. I hope all my American forum friends have a good Thanksgiving
Will be going to grandparents if I’m feeling well enough
No plans.

We host every Thanksgiving.
I’ll be going to my sister’s house, food is always good there.
I’ll be spending Thanksgiving at home with my elderly father and pets.
My father is too feeble to travel to spend it at my cousins house this year.
This suits me just fine.
no plans just to have a nice Thanksgiving Dinner with my parents my Aunt keeps inviting us to her house for ThanksGiving but I can enjoy it more at home with my parents I get anxious when I have to eat with a crowd of other family members whom I am never around that much anyway and wouldn’t be able to swallow and enjoy my food without choking.
Making vegan Thanksgiving food for my family.
I will be spending it at the grandparents’ house. They usually give me a check to spend on black Friday too, I’m kind of hoping for that, I hate to focus on money but boy could I use a little padding this Christmas.
We’ll be eating the standard Thanksgiving fair and I’ll be thanking my grandma profusely, and maybe even helping with some of the cooking.
of course going to my sister’s fancy house for a family dinner…quite a spread and usually prime rib for those who love that…me for one…with horse radish cream sauce please….YES.
Hanging out with mom, little sis and girlfriend

Looking forward to it
Our local store offers a big discount on prime rib each year near Christmas. If they do it this year (big if), we’ll have it for Christmas. For Thanksgiving, we do both turkey and ham. It’s nice, but I’m with you- I love that prime rib! I like mine with au jus sauce.
