Do you have a purpose in life?

Mine comes and go. I choose music as hobby/side gig because it’s the only thing that I picture myself doing with 80+ years old.

Sometimes I just don’t have a purpose in life, not that it’s depressive by itself, but sometimes it is.

I also don’t want to waste my “younger” years.

Do you have something to live for?

The purpose of life is to live a life get old and die

I don’t really dwell on it. I guess my purpose is to keep working until I retire and then find stuff to occupy my mind.

Btw I think it’s fine to not have anything. I sometimes don’t have any concrete purpose for living.

Don’t you have a hint of the stuff you want to do when you retire?

Not at the moment. I guess I should put some thought into it, it seems so far away though.

I have severe SI

So yes I defined my purpose in life to finish out life with my partner and dogs.

We both made a pact on surviving as long as we can. But if one of us goes. We have to survive to take care of our dogs that are only 1 and 2 years old.

My partner just had a ct scan with a nodule 2mm and I instantly started having SI and planning

But having purpose can be anything to keep you going. Living to see what happens in the future can be a purpose. Not for me but maybe someone else.

What’s SI? You got great stuff to live for. I hope someday to find meaning like you do.

Living to see the technological advances sounds like a plan as well :+1:t4:

I don’t want to trigger others but it’s suic**** ideation. I have it severely

You know someone said the world is a stage and each of us plays a part

That’s true Pedro. As Shakespeare said: “to be. or not to be. That is the question.”

The world is a stage was also from Shakespeare.

I think it truly is a stage. I wish we could choose our own characters

Philosophy I guess… and music… And working out. In that order. I honestly hate my job it’s strictly to pay bills. Too bad all of my passions don’t pay ■■■■ til you make it big.
