For some reason I have a very high alchohol tolerance, I can drink a lot and even get super drunk and I’m not really stupid like most people. Like a lot of people lose total control and say dumb things and do dumb stuff but for me even when I’m drunk as hell I can keep my cool.

I am a disgusting drunk.
I would end up at strangers place not knowing where I am,had sex on bar table, be a s###, say stupid things etc
When I had voices they were only quiet when I was very n beyond drunk and when I was sleeping 
.
Thankfully I quit alcohol and do not drink alcohol anymore which is one of the best things I ever did even though it took me a while .
I should of quit sooner but better late than never some say.
I have never been drunk. I tasted a sip of alcohol from my parents a few times and it was always gross.
That reminds me… Once my dad was asleep and I wanted some Sunny D, but there was none other than the glass jar he had filled up halfway with Sunny D and halfway with some sort of alcohol. At the time, I didn’t know there was alcohol in the jar. I just thought it was juice. So I took a huge gulp of the drink and I swear to God my life flashed before my eyes. Of course I spit it out. My dad was none the wiser thank God, and I learned a valuable lesson that day which was don’t drink anything out of my dad’s jar.
I drink but i havent been drunk since reagan was president.

Starting tomorrow I’m quitting the weed and the alcohol. It’s straining my relationship with my mom. My fiancé is doing it too. We’re going to go to NA. Say a prayer for me.

Ive only been drunk a few times when i first started drinking and i was very giggly and chatty. I only really drink at home since it’s safer and i can go to bed straight away if i dont feel well. I wouldnt know how to describe losing control other than losing motor skills. When i feel ive had enough i listen to podcasts or music (which is a lot more entertaining when intoxicated). I dont drink with friends because they dont drink themselves
You probably ARE acting stupid at the time. But because your pissed you “Think” your behaving sensibly. You probably act as stupid as the rest of us after a beer.

That’s me all over. I didn’t get into trouble every time I drank, but I eventually got arrested or did something stupid that wasn’t illegal.

I quit drinking years ago, just did not like myself anymore while drinking. Best of luck on quitting

I did but I hadn’t since ever I started meds. Honestly I’m definitely not advocating drinking on meds. But meds give you a different drunkenness feeling than when you’re on no meds. Probably last time I lost control was like 2011 drinking alcohol.
But I’m 112 days clean thank god.
Ps and it depends on the med I’m sure and your body and brain chemistry

I’m a bit like you @Samuelmcc. I maintain a fairly level head when i’ve been drunk. I become less socially anxious and more friendly or chatty, but i still maintain good sense such as not falling for someone who may be flirting with me and trying to get me into bed with them. Won’t work.
