I am happy because my parent still provide even though I am close to 40.
Like the only time in my life was the first couPle of months at university when. Had a hope for a future with a job and friends and maybe a family of my own. I thought I was going to be successful. That didn’t happen though. I guess in order to be happy I have to be promised the world. Also the time when i first thought God was talking to me and told me I was guaranteed into heaven when I died
Is pleasure the same as happiness? I get pleasure from being social, and I get pleasure from accomplishing stuff. I get pleasure from a good meal.

Right now I’m alright…I need to progress. A happy life would be having a good wife, a good job, and maybe some kids. I get lonely a lot, but I got people to support me so even through my downs, I’m blessed.

I’m not totally miserable, but I’m not ecstatic either. I enjoy the simple pleasures - the drive to town when we go to town, a good meal, seeing a nice view from a window, watching a good movie.
