I dream the vast majority of nights.

I very rarely dream since my head injury. I have probably dreamt more the last 3 months, then I have in the previous 20 years. I think this is due to a new seizure medication.

Having said that, I only dream about once a month

I remember my dreams almost every single night. The scary ones make me scared to go to sleep again.

I’ve had a lot of bad dreams too lately. It puts you in a weird mood at the start of your day. That mood takes a little while to wear off.

It’s a real big part of my insomnia problem. Worst one I’ve had in several months was one where demons were keeping me in a cage, and they were cutting me with razor blades while they mocked me about the many years they were going to keep me locked there. I slipped through the bars and jumped into a nearby bottomless pit to wake myself up, which worked, but it was hard to sleep for awhile after that.

Mostly the bad ones involve me being trapped in an endless underground parking garage, a mall, or a school. Always the same mall and same school.

I should mention the good ones though… sometimes I dream about my cat who died 15 years ago. Other times, fairly often actually, I dream I have telekinesis and the ability to float, and play around with it until I wake up.

Ever since I was prodromal I have vivid dreams all night long. I wake up a couple of times a night out of them and am upset when I have a nightmare.
