Also what do people dream about? If you do

I think we all dream. The difference is in how often and how clearly we recall our dreams. I have rather poor dream recall. A good number of the dreams I do recall centre round being lost .

I remember having had a dream I don’t remember though, as opposed to not having a dream. Normally my dreams are either very strange or terrifying. I got a cavity search by three police officers in a nightmare once

I keep having this same dream that I am at college, and I am very unprepared to turn in an assignment, or else I am way behind in the class and can’t catch up. It’s a little bit unpleasant.

I have chronic nightmares and occasional good dreams. Mostly nightmares.

I dream vividly and always stories. Mostly based on reality, but sometimes its just pure nonesense. I like to dream. I have a lot of nightmares too, mostly connected with my delusions. Like I fear they would become reality, or the opposite, waking up to realize they’re not reality again.

had a nightmare today that I was living in a small apartment sharing a room with my brother like when we were kids, and there was this big bug in the room and people were holding me down trying to put the bug on me. I woke up my legs were kicking around, the kitty was laying on me like she does when I fall asleep on the couch looking at me like will you sit still? I have huge fear of bugs, especially big ones like the one in my dream…

Ive had lucid dreams since I was a kid. Before I knew there was a word for it. I breath underwater, move things with my mind, swim through the air, change the setting of the dream by blinking really hard( I can’t choose what it changes into, it just changes) , and a few other small “powers”. I have lucid nightmares as well, those are awful.

We all dream, its just a matter of remembering them - Many people including myself have a hard time remembering most of my dreams.

Once in a while , I will have a lucid dream, where I will remember almost everything.

i dream of jeanie

When I was a teenager (30+ years ago) my dreaming continued the nightmare of the day. I didn’t sleep much. After one particularly vivid dream, in which the demons had a hold of me and were taking me away, and I woke only when I called for God to rescue me, I got right onto the floor and prayed. I pleaded for God to ateast let me have peace when I slept. I begged God to not let me have nightmares. Make of it what you will, but, while the daytime stayed the same, I have never had a nightmare since.

yes I dream a lot mostly about Spiritual things or The Spirit World but last night I dreamed of Killer Michael Myers was in my dream and he killed 8 people and my mom and I escaped with our Lives kind of scary and sometimes I dream about Heaven and my loved ones who have passed over and other times I dream of Flying it varies but usually my Dreams are that of a darker nature for some reason maybe its my meds I don’t know.

Mostly nightmares. Not very keen on going to sleep.

My dreams are outragaeous. Very detailed vivid and bizarre

Very vivid… very real… and very confusing… some just mess with my head.

I usually don’t remember my dreams, but when I am stressed and symptomatic, they are vivid and memorable and usually terrifying. Fire, explosions, plane crashes, I had a series of nightmares about having babies (monster babies, finding out that I’m my sister’s mother, etc). When I’m like this, I’m afraid to fall asleep.

Since I’ve started Lexapro, I sometimes wake up while still dreaming, which is disconcerting. In those cases, it’s usually just closed eye hallucinations of animated line drawings, very fast random images. I was frightened the first time it happened, but since then I just remind myself that I’m dreaming and make sure to fully wake up before getting up and doing anything. It takes about 10 minutes to fully clear.
