Do you buy new clothes

I have bought my clothes at flea markets, I buy underwear and socks at retail stores, but mostly I get my clothes at flea markets.

I always buy the same gray, blue shirts and capris. I’m not that into fashion. Something I’m familiar with, and no hassle. Time I can spend on something else.

I buy most of my clothes on special at the Manna Center. Some of the people where I live are willing to pay retail prices for clothes, but I’m not. People used to drop big bags of clothes where we live. I got some brand new clothes like that - absolutely free. There were so many bags of clothes that some people started to hoard bags of clothes. They’d have eight or nine big bags of clothes in their room. One woman came from an assisted living center that was affiliated with us, and she had a whole, great big van stashed full of bags of clothes. It took four people two hours to move all the clothes to her new room. That has come to a stop, though. No more bags of clothes show up at our residence. We have to pay a few dollars for an item of clothes at the thrift stores we go to. I guess they thought all the free clothes made life too easy for us. I got a nice, brand new coat from one of those bags of clothes that show up where we live. Those days are over, though.

With the exception of undergarments and socks, I buy most of my clothes at thrift stores.

The only thing I’ll really splurge my spending on are new hats and new shoes. And that’s once in a while.

I love buying stuff for myself, I prefer shoes more than clothes.

I buy clothing at flea market and charity secondhand shops and the rest at inexpensive shops. I like to buy frugally. Secondhand if possible.

I usually buy new because I only but clothes every few years, so I need them to last and not already be halfway through their life. I buy all of baby LED’s clothes secondhand because she only wears them for a year or less.

Yes I do, sometimes when desperate online. Love to go shopping to the local mall. Mostly by tops and jewelry.

Nearly everything I wear came from the thrift store or Mr. Star’s old wardrobe. We’re the same size, so we can share clothes. It’s super convenient.

yeah I probably spend about 300-500 dollars a year on clothes. I used to spend more when I was younger. I’ve been the same size for awhile so my wardrobe grows slowly. mostly I have lots of warm season clothes. in the winter I just bundle up and don’t dress up much. my winter wardrobe is a little lacking. although I did buy a new wool pea coat for myself this Christmas.

I’m missing a lot of my clothes!
Don’t know what happened.
But yes, I need to buy new clothes.
I wear lots of tee shirts and jeans.

I’ve gained more weight, so my current clothes don’t fit so much.
Ugh! I hate clothes shopping.
Think I’ll do it online.

I need new clothes. Hardly anything fits on my body now. I have so many clothes from when I was 110lbs that I can’t wear anymore. Might try thrift shops next time i can go shopping (provided I have money).
