That people give their pets consciousness? they share it? Tame animals are definitely different than wild ones most of the time.
They imitate us.
Pets have consciousness to me. If you observe a dog dreaming it makes it clear they have brains that are similar to ours.

The way I understand consciousness is that it is like the music that comes from the stereo. It is non material.

To me consciousness comes from the brain.
It’s just after five here and I slept less than 2 hours. I’m about to take a shower and prepare for the day. Sometimes I can do things like this. I am fine now.
