I do believe in psychic abilities but I don’t believe in being able to tell the future. You can know something that is happening somewhere else in the world (clairvoyance) or you can speak with spirits (psychic medium) or you can read minds (psychic telepathy) but I don’t believe you can tell the future because it hasn’t happened yet and we have free will.
I do not possess any of these abilities, sadly, but I believe my alter ego possesses all of them. I do not get to see or access any of these talents. I am a believer though.

There are many people in the world who can afford to believe these things. Having some unusual beliefs doesn’t cause them any harm, and it doesn’t totally take over their lives. @Wave, you are not one of these people. Continuing down this train of thought will lead you to a bad place, mentally. You have to tuck these thoughts away so they don’t ruin all the progress you’ve been making. I’m not saying you’re not allowed to believe in them, but don’t dwell on them.
It’s similar to my brother, who gets obsessed with conspiracy theories. The only way he was able to regain control of his life was by refusing to read or watch anything about conspiracies. He still doesn’t trust the government, but he doesn’t add fuel to the fire anymore. Some people are able to read about conspiracy theories, then shrug and go about their day. He takes it to an unhealthy degree, so he needs to keep the door firmly closed at all times.

That makes a lot of sense. Since my reading I’ve been obsessing over it/psychic abilities. It’s a slippery slope for sure. I just miss my mom so much, and being someone who is agnostic I have very little faith in an after life. But my reading was so spot on it kinda gave me a little hope that my mom’s still with me some way.
