I like mince pies. I don’t like pecan though, too sweet and too gooey.

well I love pies, like pumpkin and pecan and coconut creme? I thought mince pies were those meat and spices pies? am I wrong?

I like them with short crust pastry straight from the bakery those ones are good but I don’t like the soggy tin foiled mounds of rasins much :frowning: we always have a sticky toffee pudding bomb the shape of an xmas pud instead of an xmas pud.

They are one thing I miss about celebrating Christmas! Loved them! Every Christmas, my mother used to buy the fruity mixture in jars and bake her own mince pies. Good memories!
