Do psych wards put speakers in the rooms

I heard voices, but I think that it was the staff or a gov agency trying to f with me.

Hey I have some very similar paranoia. When I was in the ward I thought that there were speakers in the bathroom and beds.

I had this kind of paranoid delusion in my first (and only “real”) psychotic episode. I thought there were tape players on the loft. I thought they were trying to trick me that I was schizophrenic. I interpreted sounds from fans and ventilation as sound coming from the tapes.

I don’t think you should be paranoid bud, you’re going through some stuff, they just want you well.

There are cameras to watch out for symptoms like neck jerking and other physical problems associated with the medication, if you were pacing in your room they would probably start a plan to solve that immediately.

You want them to know whats going on with you. If you are having suicidal thoughts on the medication or if you need counseling immediately, they gotta know to help.

Praying for you bud, I’ll pop a knee and get my good vibes going to you right now, even if it doesn’t do anything I really do care about you and want you to relax, zone into a calm relaxed mindset and start feeling better.

The last psych ward I was in had the standard crappy intercoms for patient communication with the nursing desk, but you could always tell when they opened the circuit because of the crackling and popping noises. I honestly doubt you are being spied on, nursing staff wouldn’t have the time or the inclination. Almost every psych ward runs short on staff.

A few of the patients there said that the water in the cooler was spiked with drugs.
I believe them.

Swear to God the nurses were on drugs they grow anything their minds could make up the reports were so damn unbelievable then made the doctor laugh

Some wards play the radio but there haven’t been speakers in any of the bedrooms that I’ve stayed in

Maybe this should be flagged - My brother did some filling on the psych ward during his summer job.

Someone who worked there at night made spooky ghost noises into the patients rooms.

I never thought about speakers but I thought there was cameras everywhere, bathroom, bedrooms, etc For sure there was cameras in corridors, cafeteria and leisure rooms as I saw them and used to give them the middle finger.

The staff members would barge into my rom 6 times every night turning on and off the lights making scary faces and strange sounds.
They would gaslight me all the time.

Or the aide that make ghosts noses into the speakers at night
