I don’t think it’s personal but people tend to ignore the advice of others generally. People always think they know best themselves.

Well, thats true. But, if you are sz they take it even further. Everything is questioned or nothing you say even matters to them.

My words kind of fade to the background.
Very few people actually take heed to what I have to say.
But I think it’s more of a universal thing.

I seem to have professional respect and am well-regarded in my community. My wife likely thinks I’m a right prat, but that’s nothing new.

I hear ya but people like to challenge others… It’s a social thing. They might think you an easy target but risk the most. Just prove them wrong.
Im surprised once i realised im a 90 kg 183cm man and my paranoia dissapear that people just dont wanna upset me even if they can probably beat me
Whether what I say is respected or not doesn’t concern me as much as being respected enough to be allowed to say it.

I feel like maybe I don’t vocalize my opinion as much as I should because people just don’t take me seriously. I try to help people out but they just don’t listen. When it comes to my preferences I think the people in my life do pretty good most of the time or I don’t keep them in my life.
Nope.
I suck at setting boundaries and being honest about my needs.
I don’t really have a voice in that sense.
I hate confrontation.
