Do you get disorganized thoughts when psychotic?
As bad as word salad? Do you get catatonia?
Thoughts become illogical and not connected
I only had those symptoms first 3 years. The only thing I get now is paranoia about what others think of me. That and voices, but they are nice and/or harmless most of the time.
I thought you mostly just dealt with negative symptoms? Delusional thinking is the worst symptom and makes it hard to communicate with others, so I think that’s the most important to get rid of definitely.
On meds yes, off meds i get illogical thoughts, paranoia, delusions and hallucinations sometimes catatonia
Originally. I was diagnosed with Disorganized Schizophrenia to start with.
What kind of thoughts?
I went two years with out taking medications and at the end it got to apoint where i couldn’t understand the words that were coming out of peoples mouth .
My voices get mean off meds and it drives me crazy. Low dose was the compromise i landed on, i cant do zero meds personally.
I’ve spoken in slurred gibberish. Sometimes it sounded like I was speaking an alien language…but I think these moments were because I was super tired, mentally. It happened at work once. It was so embarrassing. Someone asked if I was having a stroke. Got them all worried.
When I had word salad my brain thought I was having a reciprocal conversation with the doctors
Apparently they had no idea what I was saying so that was not the case
Not really sure how that happened but I thought it was perfectly reasonable
Yes thats one of my symptoms.
