These guys could probably have beaten you.
I like the smiles at the end.
These guys could probably have beaten you.
Yes. I slept under it at night.
Yeah- we had one. Compared to those guys I was playing as if in a coma!
No but they had a treadmill and I used to run on it with my slippers on.
lol those were so the two security guards playing ping pong against each other. They were playing HARD.
It was a while ago, I dont really remember, but I do remember there being an Art therapy room, a small cafeteria, a room full of sofas and cushioned chairs to hang out in, etc…
I was really too out of it to remember certain things in detail
No but did have a treadmill, bicycle & rowing machine.
Only the one in Oakland did.
Yes, we had one.
I liked to use it to relax though and not have all out battles, just back and forth back and forth.
The general hospital did not have room for stuff like that.
Sheppard Pratt in Maryland has much more equipment.
Table tennis, 2 jogging machines, 2 massaging chairs, tons of paints, clay, art stuff.
But I think this was more for the rehab people.
But I was not impressed with their staff.
They treated the ward like cattle.
They did not try to talk to you all ALL. The one group meeting was about AIDS?!?
Only the social worker talked like a human to me.
So all this will remind me to be strong and stay out of them.
I think only one had a ping pong table. I remember that one had a pool table. The ones I was in most recently didn’t have anything.
Yes we did have a ping-pong table. We would take turns and play. Other than that the day room/hall was practically empty.
Yeah it did have one. I’d play against nurses and other patients. When I was a kid I used to be into ping-pong and baby-foot big time, it was always a rush when the bell rang to see who would be first at the tables…
yes we had one, it drove me nuts. ping, ping, ping
Yes, ping pong plus a music room.
Yes we did I played with one of the nurses who was really nice at the time I was paranoid about it but when I got up to play the game with her I had to smile
No ping pong table, but they did have a Wii with a game with ping pong and bowling. It was highly supervised so nothing got thrown or kicked.
Mine had both! It was one of those fancy private new age child and adolescent units though.
