Did your meds ever just stop working?

Were you on meds for say years, and then they just stopped working?

I’ve been having some minor breakthrough symptoms lately. Nothing to worry about yet though.

Maybe call your pdoc on monday, don’t let it evolve.

Not that I know of, but for me I get worse at times, maybe caused by stress, not really sure why it happens

It’s really really minor, I’m not worried at the moment. I’ll be seeing my doc in a month and will wait till then. But I’ll keep my eye on it and if it gets worse, I might go in earlier. Thanks Minnii.

I had a glitch a few days ago, just a glitch though, was kinda worried for a moment but it passed rather quickly, my next appointment is in January though… hope it doesn’t evolve into something. I don’t think it will, I’ve had glitches before

This has happened to me several times, I think it has something to do with the effect the medication has on your blood sugar and hormones, it always started working again once the medication was out of my system for awhile.

I had two AD’s stopped working, it was like I’m taking a jelly gums instead of pills: it happened with fluoxetine and Zoloft.

Vigorous exercise always helped, it nearly miraculously cured me a few times. Also a stiff dose of l-Arginine (3g) and/or l-glutamine helped alot, they both trigger a release of Human Growth Hormone which will help you alot, you’ll feel alot better.

Fortunately never happened yet

I think I react well to almost all antipsychotics, it was more about finding one without sideaffects.
