Did you visit Internet cafes in the late 90's/early 2000s?

I did but found it boring but then I discovered porn and erotic gay stories and got my own home connection in 2003. I learned to read properly from reading erotic gay stories. Since 2003 I’ve always had a computer and Internet. Since 2010 went over to Mac.

Gaming PCs were too expensive back in the early 2000s so I went with friends to gaming cafes to play. Sometimes there were tournaments you could win a prize but I never won one. Now I have my own gaming PC, I built it myself.

Well, thats one route to discovering computers.

I got into computers as a kid primarily because of games.

I used Internet cafes in London in the early 2000s. I don’t think I’ve ever been to one in the US.

No but I remember the computer room from elementary school. I learned to type there. I can still hear the XP start up sound lol.

Purble Place and Millie’s Math house was where it was at.
