I posted on a weed smoking forum called Grasscity and espn message board as a kid pretty regularly on both

It wasn’t till I got banned on Grasscity for crazy posts I found this forum

I’m not a huge fan of Reddit myself but I’ve posted there a lil bit

People will give up anything on Reddit.

Which has only been good for me.

Actually I’m for open posting on Reddit. I used to do it all the time. Not so much anymore tho….

I was on a bunch of forums in the early 2000’s but I think t hey have all gone defunct. I’ve posted a few times in some others, but this is the only forum I post a lot in now.

I was on a really good poetry forum many years ago, where people were highly skilled and open to brutal critiques. But that closed unfortunately, and now most poetry forums are safe spaces, without meaningful critique. Being there helped me to grow I think.

No.

I like the idea of reddit, not being confined to any one topic or peer group. I like how open people are allowed to be there. I’ve only recently been visiting it, and will likely continue to do so, especially when I feel too controlled here.

Used to post on something awful .com . A comedy website, not posted in years now tho. Their “humour” is a bit on the dodgy side.

yes back when i was a big baseball fan, i posted daily on a cincinnati reds baseball forum, i was booted for arguing with idiots who knew nothing about winning baseball. the funny thing was it freaked me out when the front office starting making player moves i was suggesting they should. i felt like an unofficial gm or scout. in fact i was probably a better scout than the team scouts haha. anyways i was on there for like 8 years from age 21 to 29. that was the only forum i’ve been on besides here.

i also used to post on espn message boards. i remember comparing jimmer freddette to eddie house coming out of college. every one thought i was crazy, and that he was going to be some superstar. but i knew he couldn’t seperate from nba defenders, but the comparison turned out to be an insult to eddie house who was a solid role player throughout his career. jimmer freddette underperformed my expectations, i thought at the least he would spot up and knock down 3’s off the bench.

Before joining this forum in 2020 I was on a forum for computers for 10yrs. I helped others and got help. But all they were talking about was computers, softwares and video games. I felt a need for a forum where we can talk about our lives which included schizophrenia so I found this forum.

I have been on several computers forums since I was 12y.o., some got shutdown. But the latest one I used for 10yrs is still on and I still visit it sometimes.

Like others,

I was on reddit before this site.

I didn’t care for it and still don’t.

I’ve been a member of r/schizophrenia for years and don’t know that I’ve ever posted.

As soon as I became a member here I started posting.

Yeah, those are mostly the kind of forums I posted on in the early 2000’s when I was learning more about Linux.
