I was kind of messing around. I’ve been trying to be entertaining on the forum this evening. I was kind of being self deprecating that my being funny is an unusual belief.

ok. I’ll give you a serious answer.

Back when I was in psychosis years ago, I believed tap water and store bought liquids were poison…so I collected rain water to boil and drink.

Thats kind of amusing right?

that made me lol. i have to say i have experienced some unusual beliefs in the past about getting castrated by doctors. sorry but had to share

I once thought that the food supply was poisoned so I trapped voles and squirrels to eat…you don’t get a whole lot of meat in a vole!

I don’t know if this was related to my schizophrenia. I wore glasses since I was in third grade but when I first got sick when I was 19 I decided I didn’t need them anymore. My parents had just bought me a new pair and I didn’t like them so I was at a bus stop across town and I just threw them in the weeds lining the road. I went a couple days without them; I was convinced I didn’t need them anymore. I even drove without glasses! Both my parents were pissed off at this and my dad made me take the bus back to that bus stop to find the glasses, I actually found them in the weeds. It was kinda weird.
